Why it exists

Most quiz nights are run from a phone and a piece of paper. The questions are fun; everything around them is admin. Who buzzed first? What's the score? Can everyone at the back hear?

We wanted a quiz where the TV did the showing, the phones did the buzzing and the host got to be the host. That's the whole idea, and everything in the product serves it.

What we believe

A few principles show up everywhere in the product:

• •The room comes first. Big type, clear colours, shapes as well as colours for colour-blind players.
• •Guests owe us nothing. No app, no account, no email — and their names are deleted a week after the party.
• •The host makes the calls. The AI drafts, the software counts, but a person judges the answers.
• •Every language, not just English. The screens come in six and the questions in 93.
• •No tricks. No ads, no fake urgency, no trial that runs out.

Who we are

The Party Quiz is made by EXPX B.V., an innovation studio in Rotterdam run by (ex-)founders who build and launch new products. EXPX is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 70364338.
