How do you run a fundraiser quiz?

Sell entry by the table, run a pub-quiz format with printed answer sheets, and keep the marking fast so the evening keeps its energy. Leave room between rounds for the raffle and the auction — the leaderboard gives the MC something to announce.

The Party Quiz is free, so the software never takes a cut of the night.

The night, in order

  1. Set the tables

    Up to eight teams per quiz — one per table, each with its own colour on the scoreboard.

  2. Print the sheets

    One answer sheet per table, printed from the host screen.

  3. Rounds and raffles

    Six rounds, with the raffle between rounds three and four while you mark.

  4. The final standings

    Reveal the leaderboard on the big screen and hand over the prizes.

Two volunteers, two phones, one leaderboard

Open the host screen on two devices: one runs the questions, and both can mark, so two volunteers can split the tables. Marks made on either appear on both, and the scores add up as they go.

How many tables can play?

Up to eight teams in one quiz. For a bigger event, run two quizzes side by side — each has its own room code and screen.

Do we need a projector?

You need a screen the room can see: a projector, a large TV or a venue's display, connected to a laptop.

Is there any cost?

None. No licence, no per-table fee, no paid plan.
