What do you need to run a pub quiz?

A screen the room can see, a way to collect answers, and a way to keep score. The Party Quiz handles the last two: it shows each question on the TV, prints the answer sheets (or takes answers on phones), and adds up the marks as you give them.

You still read the questions, crack the jokes and rule on “near enough”. That's the job people come for.

Set up
Six rounds of ten questions — general knowledge, a picture round, music, estimation, connections. Write them, or let the AI draft the rounds and add the pictures yourself.
Doors open
Open the TV link on the pub's screen and print one answer sheet per team.
Each round
Read the questions as they appear on the TV. Teams write their answers down.
Marking
Collect the sheets — or read the answers from the phones — and tap ✓, ½ or ✗ for each team. The leaderboard updates.

Plenty of pub quizzes ban phones, and The Party Quiz doesn't argue: choose paper answers when you create the quiz and the phones stay out of it. The sheets print from the host screen, and the scoring still happens on screen.

Half points, closest guess, all or nothing

Every answer can score full, half or nothing. Set a round to closest-guess-wins for estimation, or all-or-nothing for a round where one slip costs the lot. Finish with a connections round worth extra.

How many teams can a pub quiz have?

Up to eight teams per quiz. Each team has its own colour and shape on the TV scoreboard.

Can I reuse a quiz next week?

Duplicate it and change the questions — teams, rounds and settings come along. Every quiz keeps its own room code.

Does it cost anything for a venue?

No. There's no paid plan and no per-team fee. You need a screen, a printer if you want paper, and something to host from.

Can two people run it?

Yes. Open the host screen on two devices — say, a laptop by the TV and a phone in the quizmaster's hand. Run the questions from one; marks made on either appear on both.
